Words are living

Have all the dreams melt away yet? This is not possible and will not be so. Dreams may melt like still wet colours. But dreams do not melt, they are fixed in the frame of irretrievable feelings, with all their futilities, frustrations and partings. If – without gliding into blissful happiness or unhappiness – felicity, suffering, insecurity are here, also their opposites:
Misfortune, love, hope.

The lyrical texts of Agnes Winzig describe moments of feelings, states, sometimes long lasting; but behind these horizons appear wind, sand and the sea with all their colours. If you allow the wind, the sea and the surf to touch you, being and change are archaic constants of these texts, but also art, which helps to come over “narrow hearts”. Painful farewells are not transfigured, they are suffered. “Everything is good. Everything will be good. Everything has its reason”.

These texts of several years, with their humanistic idea, are able to “tear down hardness and coldness”.

“Words”, Agnes Winzig writes, “words are living”, “are love”, but also “words … are the death, if nothing speaks inside anymore”.
