… her artworks agitate, calm, irritate, reconcile, are intensive, sometimes overwhelming melancholy – always independent.
Agnes Winzig is a young artist, who fascinates with her naturalness, her discretion and her emotional intelligence. She is able to meet her vis-à-vis there, where it is possible at the time. Her sympathetic understanding and her intuitive knowledge of human nature makes her incredible sympathetic. She allows an uncomplicated access to her artwork.
Agnes Winzig goes no artistic comfortable way. Independent of actual movements she works on her themes and designs her own language of pictures and forms and is developing farther.
Nothing is invented, everything seems happened and lived through. She abandons her innermost part pluntly. She describes, what is between accomplished facts and her and catches atmosphere and moods.
Agnes Winzig has the talent to feel accomplished facts and to interprets feelings. She tries to understand signs of the time and to visualize them. It is a question of love, security, loneliness, ambivalenz, fear, estrangement and the seek for a way to be gone and way out.
I am deeply moved and hope to see, that not only the national but also the international market of arts becomes aware of her. Her authenticity makes her ripe for i …

The paintings of Agnes Winzig live because of the colours: once deep red, once rich blue, then again earth -colours; all nuances harmonized with each other.
The whole thing is bond together with dark colour blends, which result in appears in a graphic complete works. Winzig is not satisfied with the plan underground of a canvas. She creates a fine wrinkled surface to
come near a three – dimensional work. The surface of traditional painting is so skilfully interrupted.
Existence is the central theme of it.

The meeting with Agnes Winzig belongs to the most important in the last years. The general view of her personality and her artistic work has left lasting impression.
The mixture of forms and colours embeded in fine structures fascinate because they are well-balanced. Her person and her work inspired my own artistic (musical) work.

… without the creators of works of art and culture we would loose an important level of understanding.
Art and culture bring people off to think about themselves and to get conscious to themselves.
Agnes Winzig delivers us such impulses for discussion and communication.

… about the priced project the jury says:
“A continuum from the first idea – an intellectual inspiration resp. association – on the development of approach to several forms, techniques and materials of documentation to the result is recognizable, there for the process of development can be duplicated. The result as an quintessence allows the viewer the recognize the working process …"

… Agnes Winzig looks with her large triptichon „ Love and Anger” into the human being respective his character.
The triptichon was made during a live-painting, combined with lyric. The artist had only one hour to create it.
“To be under time pressure when painting was a great experience for me”, she says and tells that she was fallen in a kind of trance when painting this large format. Also the preparation for it was intensive. The ground for the first painting was filled with the poem “there is no opposite of love”. The basis of the scond painting is a letter of a medical-doctor during a war-action to his family at home. Above the handwritten poems Winzig painted human bodies dramatically framed with black and different reds.
The powerful Ferrari – red stands for masculinity, the dark, subdued red for womanliness. It is amazing that effect turns into the opposite, when red is combined with black. Then red, the colour of love and life, turnes into the colour of hate.
